As far as the tcs thing goes I think it shares wires with something else not sure though. I had a bad o2 sensor awhile back (can't remember the code) and my tcs light stayed on. As soon as I replaced the o2 sensors the tcs went back to normal. Idk if this helps or not but you might want to check the codes for more info.

Yeah. It's not sputtering or dying. Yet. RPMs are a little sluggish at start-up but driving is fine.

I had plans for this weekend but I have Monday off, so. Not a big time crunch but I would like to get it done in a few hours, which I think I could do.

Call me crazy but does the manifold REALLY need to come off? Couldnt you just remove the EGR, use a bristled brush to clean the runner then do a fuel induction...?

Im not against removing the IM but this lessons the chance of getting dirt or some other undesireable down in there and is like 10-times easier.
