I like option 3. And this way it could still be in the US this year. But mostly, the 14 hours it would take me to drive to Springfield, MA is not doable.

I don't see what the problem is with people having school, as a good majority of us have full time jobs and other commitments as well...
May works for me, as for the people with school, I don't see any harm in planning ahead and studying/completing projects at an earlier date.

Millz, i don't know for Ontario, but in Quebec, it's the final test period. So they are all into studying hard to end the session. That's why.

Leave the date as May 21, and we hold the event and hope as many people as possible can still come. People don't usually have classes on the weekend. I know I have skipped some Friday classes to get a head start on the weekend. If it's a matter of studying for Final Exams, study earlier, study harder. I think that's certainly a possibility for those who are still in school that want to attend from Canada.
We had a bunch of people from the US that couldn't go because something came up that weekend or it just wasn't the best date for them. We will never be able to satisfy everyone.

Here's the reason Quebec college students can't attend :
Its not the studying part itself, its the fact that the 21st is an exam date. You can skip a study day, but you can't skip or rain check an exam.
My reason is i graduate school 1week before the 21st, i got to find a job so i can have the funds to make the trip.
If you guys decide to leave it at the 21st, sorry but don't expect a strong CAQ participation.
