Marinated chicken..... and I guess they throw it inside of a hoagie roll?

I think we were going to do the standard hamburgers and hot dogs again.... but if you wanna provide some extra food, I don't see a problem with that, lol.

hoagie :ohyou: :lawl:

sub roll, then once the spiedies are in there, pour some extra sub sauce on it and have a great local sammich. and ill grab a few pounds for some 6ga people, mainly the ones posting in this thread, and whoever else wants some haha.

20 llbs of them is like $115 before taxes :ughrun: maybe like 10 lbs, thatll serve about 20 or so people

^nice gesture, but I would suggest getting some donations to help cover the cost of that, since you may end up having more people who might want it.

Also, keep in mind it's a BBQ, so if they are little chicken cubes, it makes it a bit of a challenge to put it on the 'Q' unless you have a tray of some sort to cook them on.

oh dont worry about that, skewers will be brought as well. and if its just a few people that want them (6GA gets priority since i know you guys :hihi:) then yeah some additional donations would be fine, but im not gonna heckle people (right word?) to throw money.

and yeah you skewer some spiedies, grill them like you normally would, then grab a sub roll (hoagie for out of towners :lawl:) and squeeze them and pull them off, for ultimate skewer to roll ease.

^Ok, so skewers/rolls(hoagies)....you supplying that as well, because if so, then you will definately have to ask for some donations to cover the cost.

I don't think you'll have a problem with that either.

for them to be proper, fresh baked Italian rolls from felix roma are needed, and i may be able to get the hook up since i used to work there, my good friend is basically a supervisor there, and my other good friends dad is a manager there.

i just hate asking for money. but if it comes down to saving some bread :)lawl:) then we can get some at a local grocery store

There is nothing wrong with asking for money at this type of an event, there will be a fair amount of people, and you are picking up a 'specialty' item that we normally don't have.

Justin can amend the first post, but you have to be certain about how much you are willing to get as far as food/any utensils(skewers), so that you can be reimbursed.

If you are that concerned about asking for money, what we typically do is ask anyone who has purchased something for the event to keep their receipt(s), and they are reimbursed that way.
