why dont you change the donation rules, $10 per car for a max of 2 people. more than 2 people $5 each.

just an idea, because the way you set the rules i wouldn't have to pay even though i would just to help out.

That's a good idea Leeann. I think what I'm going to do is sit down this weekend and try and come up with a ballpark figure of what this is all going to cost us, and then go from there. I may raise the cost per car a few dollars, or charge per person.

I dunno....like I said, I have to crunch some numbers......

Maybe I could just give you a list of my (our) expenses and then you could tell me what we would have to charge per car, or per person based upon average past attendance in order to have enough surplus capital to make a somewhat notable donation to which ever charity we decide upon.

I assume you're good with Excel.....you can't be in accounting and suck at Excel......

I dunno though.....you DID get an A- in Acctg Info Systems.......

For what it's worth, crunching the numbers with previous CanAm events may not be very helpful, since they were previously held up here, and the prices/costs were significantly different, based on what Justin told me some of the costs will be for the event being held in the US.

Obviously, a rough estimate will be possible, but Justin, you'll obviously have to give yourself some significant flexibility in what potential/real costs will be.

There is also the potential that the numbers of attendees MAY not be as high, although official attendee lists haven't been started yet. I could also be way off with that as well, since it is in the US, and most member's on the Forum's we invite are also in the US, which of course would put figures much more in the 'black'.

Justin, if not already done, I think the running attendee list needs to get started on all the Forums sooner than later to help both you and LA get some numbers crunched.

I'm REALLY REALLY BUSY LEEANN!!!!! lol

I honestly won't have time to do it until a week from Saturday. Last Friday I was running a fundraiser for a friend who is running for reelection this year, Saturday was my GF little sisters Grad party, and Sunday was mothers day. This weekend is my best friends bachelor party and I'll be gone from tomorrow night through Sunday.

I WILL probably be enlisting your services though. I appreciate your willingness to help.
