:coffee:ok well i have a ur. crank and it wobbles a little and the belt makes a whirling whine noise and i found out the guy that did the timing belt manualy tighten the tensioner and did not put one of the springs on... ok today i will try to fix it. but i have to remove the crank to take off the bottom cover but by loosing my belt will i gain a better response ? i got the spring but is this slowing me down ? most hondas timing belts have a little play in the front of the cam gear and belt going down its tighter . mine is tight on both sides...

NO! dont loosin your timing belt, that would give it more reason to jump time, thus bending valves...

I always add a bit of manual tension when I tighten my timing belt, even with the spring.

If the UR pulley wobbles, it has nothing to do with the diming belt tension. :)
