Damn I had to do this awhile back and it was no fun. make sure you use the OEM master cylinder. I tried 3 from napa that failed out of the box. I can't really remember what I did to get it in I just remember was a pain in the ***. good luck
Yes, OEM is the only way to go.
Since i started this thread a lot of things have happened.
Here's the breakdown:
-Ordered Replacement Clutch Line from Honda $124.00
-Took car to local mechanic for Aftermarket Master Cylinder & Clutch Line. $210.00
-Mechanic completed job and by the next day it had no clutch pressure.
-Took the car back to him and had him check the parts and replace the slave with an aftermarket one. $168.00
-After two separate install attempts, the clutch pedal kept hitting the firewall. It had zero pressure.
-Finally Caved in and took the car to the dealer.
-Dealer determined the previous mechanic failed at installing the Aftermarket MC and Line correctly and i had to purchase an OEM MC & OEM Slave.
-Dealer Replaced all the parts for $694.00
Good news is the mechanic paid me back for the work he didn't do right. Bad news is, this job could've cost me less than $400 if i would've taken it to the dealer from the beginning.
Moral of the story, dealer > *
