TL Exhaust

so ive been looking at changing my exhaust to the CL-S....seen it on here a few times and have heard good things about it....so i have been been looking on acurazine to find a set of mufflers in good condition but havent been real lucky yet...so i was wondering if the TL exhaust will fit on the sedan V6...anybody seen this done or other suggestions? any help would be great...thanks... :peace:

it will fit on the accord. just make sure it is the 2nd gen TL's i think, not the newest ones. there's a guy on honda-acura.net that has them on his sedan, jschmid i think was his name.

He didn't have the full exhaust though. He has the mufflers only, and I believe, custom 2.25" piping.

so would the piping need to be bigger or could i just put the mufflers on w/o changing the piping all the way....

You don't need to change the piping. If I remember correctly, the piping on the CL-S is the same as the Accord...so I'm assuming the same for the TL. I have CL-S mufflers bolted on, and the only modifications needed were to re-weld the piping in the back of the muffler (different angle than the Accord) and the exhaust hangers need to be re-welded to match the stock Accord positions.
