TL Exhaust

so ive been looking at changing my exhaust to the CL-S....seen it on here a few times and have heard good things about it....so i have been been looking on acurazine to find a set of mufflers in good condition but havent been real lucky yet...so i was wondering if the TL exhaust will fit on the sedan V6...anybody seen this done or other suggestions? any help would be great...thanks...

it will fit on the accord. just make sure it is the 2nd gen TL's i think, not the newest ones. there's a guy on honda-acura.net that has them on his sedan, jschmid i think was his name.

He didn't have the full exhaust though. He has the mufflers only, and I believe, custom 2.25" piping.

so would the piping need to be bigger or could i just put the mufflers on w/o changing the piping all the way....

You don't need to change the piping. If I remember correctly, the piping on the CL-S is the same as the Accord...so I'm assuming the same for the TL. I have CL-S mufflers bolted on, and the only modifications needed were to re-weld the piping in the back of the muffler (different angle than the Accord) and the exhaust hangers need to be re-welded to match the stock Accord positions.
