what lip should i put on this?
im going to get an abs plastic lip off ebay since they are lightweight and easily modible


urethayne is too heavy..

im open to peoples opinions because its only being used at the track

The type r or mugen lip polyurethane aren't heavy

both mugen and type-r look good on the 01-02 bumper. personally id go with the type-r sense it looks a lot better on that bumper then any of the others

I like both equally. For the longest time I had a type r and mugen. This new style mugen lip I have now I'm in love with. Pics of both are on my MR profile

Are you going all fiberglass or using a stock bumper?

I would go with a mugen lip for a stock bumper, or mod an 98-00 oem replica to fit if you are going to make a fiberglass front. The reason I would not use an oem replica with the stock bumper is you are going to problably be using a lot of filler and if the difference between urethane and ABS is important enough for you, this would not be the way to go.

Honestly though, what numbers do you think you are running? It's probably not going to make much of a difference for the work you put into it. Fun project though.
