Well, it was almost 90 degrees on humid yesterday when I went to Englishtown..and had a lot of fun! :peace:

My best time was a 15.8 with a 2.4 60' and trapped at 87.5. The track was very sticky, and there were complaints about it being so hot and the times weren't as good. But, that's what I ran, and with a better 60', could have done much better. Not bad for the first time at the track.

I consistently ran 16-16.1, with 2.5+ 60' :( My worst time was a 17.0 because I red-lighted, then hesitated at the line, then missed 2nd twice, Lol. But I did trap twice over 89 mph (89.5 the fastest), so I know there is a good amount more potential because that trap speed is good for low 15s. So we will have to see next time.

I will get the slips and videos up tomorrow because my cell phone takes blurry pictures.

Me chasing down a Vette  This was my best run of the day.

Me vs. DOHC D series completely gutted Integra..launch strikes again

Yea the tires are pretty bad..dry rotted, etc. Track driving is completely different than driving on the street..

With better tires I'm confident I could break 15.5.

Sounds good dude as Accordian said those aren't bad numbers at all. What kinda tires are you thinking of switching to?

I was thinking of BF Goodrich g-Force Sports 225/50/r15s..they aren't too expensive, and have gotten good ratings, but I'm not too sure. I'm also going to be looking into some lightweight 15s just for the front for track use. We'll see what happens.

Good Job Sonnick! That's a great time for NA F23. Im running 16.6 in my 4dr with terrible tires. I wonder what your time would be with a fully built F23 or maybe with the G!

Nice run
I went there Friday night. My best run was a 16 flat.... again
That's not too bad for a car with a blown piston ring gasket and running on my 18's
You're 60 ft will always be crappy because of teh lack of torque.
Even if you try to launch at a high RPM, you'll get too much wheelspin and end up with a crappy time

Would it even be worth it to use 89 or 93? I figured not so I said regular. Hopefully with the new tires I will get 2.3 60' or possibly less..

I didn't spin at all at the start, the track was so grippy. Most of my runs I bogged.
