Tranny options

So my v6 tranny is done for.
I'm weighing my options I know that a rebuild is expensive and won't last for ever. So I would really like to do a 6 speed swap I just have a few questions.
Is it easier to do a full j32a2 swap instead of just the 6 speed?
I found a j32a2 with 6 speed for 1500 on C.L. but I would have to find wiring harness ecu linkage and all that seperate. How hard is it to pair that up and still finish off without cels?
Also if I find all the parts I need how do I go about getting it swapped? And average cost?
I know someone will say research. But I have honestly been going at the research for like 2 weeks straight.

You couldn't have done that much research, because there are at least 15 people on here that have done either swap you've mentioned.

Not to mention j32a.com/v6p.com have been mentioned at least 3 times in every thread about either swap.

There is a lot of research to be done, because there are various options for the V6 swap.

Maybe try some different terms to search for.

I guarantee you will find all the info you need about it.

2 weeks, lol. Your best bet is to find a donor 03 CL-S 6MT you can try auctions and such for crashed ones. I have been researching and looking for a donor for over a year. Finding one that isn't crazy expensive or far away (I'm in Cali) is proving difficult.
I've also had my eye out for a Richie harness for the same amount of time just in case. If you dont know what that is, you haven't searched hard enough. There is A LOT of info out there.

I have 213,xxx miles on my original V6 trans and its still working. Sketchy but working good luck with everything. keep us updated.

Like the two previous posts stated there's a ton of information out there. There are plenty of threads to choose from to choose from but take this one for starters. It's a 100+ page discussion on RichieV6's module and throughout the whole thing a good portion of questions can be answered. After this you should have a basic idea of what options you have.
