Tranny Swap Or Buy a new car

Okay I know my tranny just failed on me cause i was driving on thr highway and out of nowhere my rpms shot up to 7k and when traffic came to a stop there were some violent downshifting that scared the dog **** out of me.
So basically Im wonderin how much would the tranny swap cost me if i found a 03 accord 6speed for $1200. Or should i just wait til june to get my bonus and save up for a 7thgen and no longer be a 6th gen

i personally would say the 7th gen... i always hated the 7th gen but once i got in it, i kinda fell in love with it... alot cozier than the 6th gen.... skip the tranny and go str8 7g

yea im just gonna miss her though she kept me happy for 2 years guess ill wait then til june and get the 7th gen and be carless for now
