hey guys, I've been reading stuff from this website for a while now and I've been thinking about boosting my f23a1 (02 coupe). Couple things I would like to ask, is it really worth it? I have the money, that isn't the problem, but is swapping my auto to a manual, rebuilding my engine (162,000mls), and then wanting to boost it all really worth the money? I love my car but i don't know if I might be better off buying a whole new car and starting from there

I swapped my (by myself, in a 15°f enviro :) )4d civic to a manual, totally worth the 4hrs it took.

Most ppl couldn't do it in 4hrs tho.

So yeah, figure twice that, 8hrs, cost of parts, eh, $500(?) so, figure $50/hr (you & helper)...is it worth $900?

To you. It is to me.

Only you know the answer to this...

But for some perspective...if you can't afford another car you want and you are keeping this one for a long time, it might be worth it. Otherwise, maybe not. But buying a new car may mean you have car payments. You just have to weigh your options, and decide what's important to you.
