Hey everyone. I have a question. I put up a post 2 months ago about an issue I had with my accord. I was driving home one day and the CEL came on and the car wouldn't go pass 4,000 rpms. Pulled the codes when I got home.
P1686 A/T FI Signal B Low Input
P1687 A/T FI Signal B High Input
Which I researched means
31 Automatic Transmission Signal "B" defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor
I cleared the codes and waited to see how long it too for it to come back. That was 2 months ago and still not CEL. The transmission is acting funny though. When coming to a stop after accelerating, the car will hesitate before coming to a complete stop. My mechanic described it as the car not shifting smoothly into neutral. The car has also shifted rough twice in the past 2 months. My mechanic pointed out a solenoid under the hood that he thought might be the problem.

He was hesitant to change anything because there was no CEL on at the moment. But I had an idea. The CEL code I had mention a B sensor being bad, and of those **** solenoids is called Shift Solenoid B maybe that could be what it is talking about. I just have no idea what that shift solenoid does or even if that could be whats wrong. Its a pretty expensive part, so i didn't wanna jump in and buy it before speaking to you guys. Thank you so much for an opinions you guys have.
