So I just bought a 2000 4cyl automatic accord and I need some help from my fellow 6genners... The guy said on his wife's way back from work one day the tranny started slipping so he parked it for a couple days I believe and did some research and thought a tranny flush would help... Clearly it did not, he says the reverse gear is the only one that would go in but very very rarely, when I put it through the gears, reverse, d1, d2, d3 it acts as if it is in neutral, I can't think for the life of me what the problem would be without replacing a bunch of things and wasting a buck... I would like help on this because I need to make money to flip this one to pay for my other V6A... Any and all help on this has much appreciation to it, Thanks in advance!

If you are looking for a quick flip on this car forget it because the transmission alone will set you back around $1800-2100 in repairs. Especially if it's the ULEV you wont get much for it. But you didn't list the miles?
Best advice is to degrease the area where the oil leaks to really see if a gasket, seal leak.

It has 200K and I have many cars in my disposal at the junkyard, hoping it was a solenoid or a sensor or something

No D, normally for our trannies the clutches go bad which cause the slipping and also clogged up oil passages in the valve body. Automatic transmission have clutches too but they loose their contact surface over a period of time. Replacing solenoids and sensors will not do much even if you do all of that and add Lucas tranny fix it wont help. Our Accord auto tranny was build that way from the factory."99 problems but the 5 speed ain't one" :lock:
