Transsmision problem

hi i have a 2000 two door coupe accord, my transmission is f***d i was wondering if an f22b1 (97 accord) transmission would fit and if there is any down side to it thankss

It'll bolt up, not sure if you'll be able to get the electronics to work for it though. More than likely you wont.

Hes right, it will bolt up but the electrical portion isnt compatible. What kinds of symptoms are you having? I think most of us automatic accords are in the the same boat. Sorry bro,

Not sure about the speed sensor on the trans, should still be compatible, should be good to go.

Torque? As in what the engine will put out? Shouldn't change at all.

Although...while you have it off, if you're still on the original flywheel/clutch combo...get the flywheel resurfaced and maybe replace the main seal around the crankshaft. One of those..might as well while you have everything apart.

May I ask how did you burn up a 5 speed tranny? Thats a lot of miss-shifts unless you're miles are high. I thought these trannys were "bullet proof".:lawl:

its a mistary it was stuck in snow so i got help by a 4x4 to pull it out suddenly the shiftter waz jamed in reverse and teh stupid 4x4 dude kept pulling and it broke my casing i dont how this is pssible fuced up lol
