thanks man, yeah I put vinyl there as a super cheap way of getting rid of the amber :) I used to work for Modern Image Signworks in Huntington Beach, CA, so it was free. not to mention simple ;)

welcome to the board man.. nice car why is for sale??
Thanks man, I am just interested in getting another VW, I'm really a VW guy at heart, but loved this body style when it came out and couldn't resist. I'm looking to get an old rabbit like this...

Nice looking Coupe. I would say lose the hood graphic, and a lip kit would set that bad boy off, just right. Welcome to 6GA!

Re: turtlebone's '99 Coupe LX

I really don't like graphics at all, but I had to paint my rims after curbing them for years, and went with the graphite color since it was readily available at the time so I just threw those on to tie the color in. I would say lose all the graphics :) as for the lip, I have this xenon kit that I got 7 years ago, modified it to fit, then never put it on cuz I like being able to park all the way up to parking stops ;) when I test fit it on the car prior to ever finishing and painting it, it looked awesome tho!! but I prefer drivability
