picked up a pair of used TYCs and used the toothpaste method to clean them. They are better but not to my satisfaction. I am wondering if bodyshop takes a lot to restore them? Or should I just buy the 3m headlight restoration kit? The lights are not hazy at all, I just wish they were a bit more cleaner. Here are 2 pics:

I've used this on my car, as well as a few friends' cars, and it seems to do a pretty good job. No kit, I just used the paste and a microfiber cloth.

I know there's some sort of wetsanding method of cleaning headlights, but I can't remember. :lawl:

To get the look that you are after, take them to a body shop and have them wetsanded and then sprayed with automotive clear.
