I have found inspiration in sonni_kuba's grill delete. I have given thought to a couple of options: (All where edited in Paint just to get an idea)

Option 1
Plasti-Dip

Option 2 Not my favorite.....
Delete grill center bar

Option 3
Total delete

I'm leaning towards Option 1, Plasti-Dip for the time being. At least until next summer.

Ghost, he has a 01-02 sedan

1st off that "Type R" grill is garbage......
They make better looking Type R reps then that 1.

I was thinking of doing this I even bought a "Type R" rep grill it's in my trunk, ill pull it out n show u what it would look like.

U would have to fill in about 1" of your bumper on both sides n from the bottom, then you would have to get a coupe hood because its narrower then the sedan grill. All n all it's g2 be a lot of work.
If you like the look I would suggest doing a 98-00 coupe bumper & hood conversion.
Good luck & let me know if u need a grill :action-smiley-042: I've got 1 in my trunk....

Ah, I see your point sir. That's a hell of a lot of work. Front end conversion seems to be the most practical route for the OP / sedan owners.

Ghost Ryder, in case you're feeling adventurous, here's a pretty cool how to video of the same procedure that I had done.
