front was a b---- to put on... if it wasnt for my awesome clinching strength the sides wouldn't have stuck LOL

Hey guys, I posted this on TAC as well, but I also wanted to post here.

Reason being is that I know a couple of people on 6GA were wondering about the WW W-type replica front lip & any fitment issues.

Plus I'm really excited about completing my lip kit :omghi2u:.

The sides & rear are authentic WW, the front lip is a fibreglass replica.
(I know, I'll have to drive like there's explosives in my car.)

Picked up the front lip & tested fitted it in the parking lot WITH 02_VTEC_SE (Jonas).
(Not paying attention to the weird looks we got from passers-by.)

BTW: Fitment from a REPLICA front lip is almost flawless, Jonas can vouch for this. Went on without any modification etc.

Next, I went to my friend's house and test fitted the whole lip kit.

Over the next couple of weeks gotta prep the front lip, strip & prep the sides & rear and get it all painted.

Should be painted & mounted before the CanAM cruise.

PS. I can't wait for everyone to flame me and tell me to go lower :flipoff: LOL

Thanks for lookin!

looks good...but i dunno if i would strip it...just sand it because paint stripper and plastic/polyurethane is not a good combo...the paint stripper could mess up the polyurethane....

thanks for bringing that up because I was thinking about it but wasn't TOO SURE what to do, ill just sand it down nice and smooth and have it ready for primer etc.

it could be that it doesn't appear to go as low because in the pics at my buddies house the front of the driveway slopes down? might be that? i dunno

Damn, looks great. Make sure it's all painted up for CanAm! Best of luck to you, for keeping that lip in 1 piece. :)

I'm only dropped on s-techs, and it'll be coming off in the winter. Replacing it will be a black plastic bumper and an unpainted mugen lip. So it SHOULD be okay, just as long as im careful parking (watching out for curbs if i go front-in etc)

LOL
