Besides the wiring what has to be done to the bay to install a v6 in the 4cyl chassie? I read somewhere that v6's could be installed in the 4cyl accords

Too much work. If u want a V6 why not sell the I4 and get a V6 accord? That way you dont have to go through dealing with the swap and ofc posting a thread like this..

Lol, swapping a V6 in an i4 would be nothing but a headache and more money than you would spend on selling your i4 and getting a v6; unless you really love your car and is a must do thing, then you shouldn't bother with swapping in a V6. Do what J30A said or if you want more power just do a G23 or swap in a H22/23A.

Swapping a h not a option I made this thread because I saw a guy selling a complete and i mean a complete TL type s 6spd swap out of his cg. getting a v6 body will require a 6spd transplant still costing a grip his swap was about under 4k I don't remember clearly and said "anybody considering doing this to their i4 I will also include the subframe for the swap for free" got me thinking about my current question.

Oh, you must be talking about IcyAccord then right? I guess you will need the correct sub frame, mounts, wire harness, and i'm pretty sure OEM headers, intake manifold should fit in the i4's engine bay.

It's going to be alot of work, but if you really want to take a challenge I say go for it.

J swaps go into EK/EG/DC, I'm pretty sure if you read up on some info on J32a.com or ask some of the people who swapped a V6 into their EK/EG/DC they should be about the same.

I believe u will need much more than just the sub frame.
U said the guy is selling a COMPLETE TL-S 6spd? So im guessing it comes with the 6spd tranny as well? If thats the case u have both the motor and tranny. V6 or i4 u will still need a 6spd tranny anyways if you are dropping in a TL-S motor, unless u want to keep the auto or planning on running the car without a tranny....

Yes. you basically said "its COMPLETE..... so it comes with a trans also, so you have a engine and trans, you need a trans for a engine to run"
