Okay, here's my question and it's nothing serious because it's not really affecting anything but I did notice it. My engine is from a 2002 V6 and my intake manifold plus throttle body is from a 1998 V6 since it is a 1998 with the 1998 ECU. I recently noticed that my throttle body has a port on top that is suppose to be connected to the FIACV with 4 ports of a 1998 block but the 2002 block has a FIACV with 3 ports. I browsed and saw that the 2002 throttle body has no port to connect to the FIACV hence the reason my engine's FIACV has only 3 ports. The port on my current throttle body to the FIACV is currently being closed by a rubber nipple to plug that hole.

Now the what I am trying to ask. Should I replace the FIACV with the one for 1998 that has the 4 ports or continue with the throttle body not being connected to the FIACV and do nothing different?

Its plugged so you dont have a vacuum leak. If its not leaking or your car runs well, just leave it. Everything will be okay with your engine.

Yeah. I figured. Just wanted some opinions before I made in impulsive buy on something that is not needed to sustain the car's longevity. I have most of my mechanical things finally fixed and just got 210 miles out of half a tank with some aggressive driving involved. It's been awhile since I've seen some decent numbers out of my mileage.
