^ugh that makes me dread changing my passenger side actuator even more. Good to know ahead of time though.

Are you using the fastbrakes Pilot kit for the rear brake upgrade?

I'll most likely be going with that setup whenever I get my car back, but I haven't purchased it yet. The engine build has just entered its fourth month, and I'm having DIY withdrawals.

Derek, can you shed some light on this rear brake upgrade with the Pilots? I've heard about this before, but never anything with evidence of it being done. Just wondering about it.

You can come start building mine if you feel like you want to. Lol

^The Pilot upgrade isn't actually an upgrade in terms of braking function or power, it's just for looks. So you get the brackets which space the stock calipers further from the hub, so you can fit the larger Pilot rotors. I've never read about the e-brake cable needing extended, so I guess the stock one is fine.

Oh ok. So it's just a bigger rotor with the same caliper.

Did fastbrakes sell you the brackets separately? I think the real issue is nobody wants those slotted/drilled rear rotors.

Got tired of letting her rot behind the shop. Block still isn't back from the machine shop and racing season starts tonight. Hopefully I'll have her up and running by 2017, with any luck.

Gutted her out even more. Took out visors, headliner, started scrubbing off sound deadening on the doors, random metal crap from where the back seats used to be. Hoping to get a weight soon since I work for a trucking company. I'm shooting for 2,8000 pounds 300whp, 270wtq NA. It's a lofty goal: 2800lbs/336hp would put the power ratio to 8.33 which would put it right in between the 2014 Mustang GT and 2014 Mercedes AMG.
