I'm worried that that will be the case once mine finally come. If it is I'm gonna spray tint the lenses and see what happens.

Do any of you have really bright door courtesy lights?
I put a 4 smd led in mine and i can't stand it. I like my bulb with one regular led, whatever they're called. Even with just 4 it was like glaring in the corner of my eye and was just uncomfortably bright.
I have the 5-led "bulb" style in mine and they're not bad. Definitely brighter than the halogen but not annoyingly bright. Im curious to see how bright a little 8 or 12smd would be in there.

i have 20led bulbs in there and i love it :)
Pics?

I remember myself replacing a cabin air filter, and it was a little time consuming to take off the glove box.

When I replaced my glove box light, I basically took off the instrumental panel bezel and the climate control unit. I reached into the glove box light from there, using a miniture cross slot screw driver to detach the light mount. I remember it wasn't that painful to do this way. Just my two cents.

I had an 8 smd led in there for like 2 minutes one time. It was like someone shining a flashlight right in my face.

i know imma be able to do it but its just gonna be annoying to take off every thing just for a little bulb lol.

^ I'm gonna try some like those, the 360*, but smaller haha. I have an old 5 led like that.
I want the whole lens to be lit up, not just a focused area in the center.

Just finished doing my LED strips. Obviously nothing ground breaking.. So I won't make a DIY. Unless someone wants one because this one is more simple than the other on the sight...

Only time I've done a slightly involved project where everything went perfectly. So I have daytime pics, night time pics to come. I'm worried about this 3M strip on the back holding.. But I'll cross that bridge when I get there. Here's some pics, enjoy my awesome beard

Didn't take a picture of the passenger wiring. It was a simple power in and ground. I ran my remote wire for my amp back there a while ago with the intention and putting it on the switch, but decided against it even after modding the switch in that blank. So I put a but connector over the two remote wire ends, then ran the power off that to the switch, power off the switch and a ground off of that. The driver strip - to passenger side + and then passenger side - grounded. Amp still turns on normally with no interference from the switch.

wow dude looks amazing. how did it turn out during the night? im still a little confused on everything. so basically you tapped into your amps remote wire for power, had it split off to both sides for power, each - lead was grounded and somewhere inline you added that switch?

my brain works weird im a very visual learner haha
