Well guys I am still in but the accord won't make it. I will be bringing my coupe instead or my girlfriends car. Unless by some miracle I can get my car in proper shape to travel, it won't be attending. I'm going to be parting it out soon as well. I was planning on parting after Memphis but looks like it won't make it that long. Too many problems. If for some reason my money situation goes south I may have to now out of the meet all together. We will see. 8 months ago things were looking better but with the divorce and life changes and yadda yadda it's understandable how myself as well as others may have to or already have bowed out of a car meet and put other responsibilities first. Still planning on going though as of today but two weeks will be here quick.

And I said if there wasn't at least 10 cars it wouldn't be a good idea to push forward with the meet.. It's common for people to back out last minute but I didn't think it would be this many. I think a serious discussion need be had about cancelling. I'd esp hate for those driving 10+ hours to arrive to 6 cars.. Anyone feel the same ?

I am sorry to hear about the car issues and especially the divorce deal. I just moved out in the beginning of a divorce when the the motor in the 90' ef hatch I had decided to bite the big one.....I was so- pissed. I wasted more money than I care to mention trying to revive it. But wound up selling it in the end and then getting my 1st 6th gen. (Go figure)
I can certainly understand what you have going on and it would definitely be great for all the more people to come. But you gotta take care of business, and honestly, I wish the best to you. It smooths out eventually.
I do hope that everyone else remaining can come. Its a good opportunity for people to meet face to face, check out some of these great builds we work so hard on, and just shoot the wind with people we automatically have something in common with. I imagine there will be plenty of photo op's and of course cruising. (Personal favorite) Oh, and BBQ.

Attendees list updated, down to 10. And I haven’t heard from Bax, Chef89Red, or C-span. Guessing Bax isn’t coming since he’s parting out. Guessing final attendance will be under 10…

Can definately appreciate where you are at with things right now.
Take care of home, Brother, first and foremost.
Unfortunate to see so many people drop out of this, but hopefully we can still get a decent turnout, even if it's last minute attendees.

That's the good news. The bad news is, first and foremost, I don't have a room. If anyone is willing to share or if maybe one of you guys backing out would like to split, I'd be more than happy to do so. Worst case scenario, I get a room there, on my own, or get one at a nearby hotel.
Secondly, I was gonna cruise down with the TX convoy but since soccerchamp is out, I might be on my own. Can someone else in the TX convoy please confirm your route? I had originally planned on meeting you guys in Fort Smith, AR around noon or 1 on Friday. I'd like to still do so.
As for the meet, don't expect anything special from me or my car, lol. This late in the game I'm a road warrior; built for purpose, not show, lol.
