u probably need to clean your paint up, i.e. clay bar, cleaner wax, scratch remover, polish

yeah im thinking about doing those too. but wait...i just realised my nxt bottle is differnet than you guys'. you guys have that two tones red-ish sporty on the bottle, mine's got that purple-ish sporty on the bottle, but they both are tech wax, are they the same though?

It also depends on the condition of the paint. Wax can only do so much. Try the Deep Crystal 3-step. Paint cleaner, Polish, and Wax.

would machine polishing/waxing better than using hands?

btw for that deep scratch on my rear bumper would the scratchX get rid of it?

No, it needs to be repainted. Is your car black?? If so, proceed with caution when using machine buffing. Definatly don't use a high speed polisher/buffer.

if u do plan to get a machine polisher get the porter cable 7224 or the 7336 both are nearly the same, check out autopia.org and no u will not harm your paint with a random orbit polisher.
