Ive been lurkng for a while looking at DIYs to fix some problems on my ex. So its a 2001 coupe 4 cyl MT and it would hesitate, jerk, and acceleration was weak between 1800 to 3k rpm the clutch was good and felt strong. I cleaned the IAC, throttle body, new plugs wires, cap, rotor, EGR and still would do the same thing. Idle was fine, then the slave cylinder gave out and leaked everywhere and the clutch pedal stuck while driving. I replaced the slave and master and now all those symptoms went away. The acceleration is great and hesitation went away. Can anyone tell me why that might have cause the symptoms??
