Welding strut bars together

Anyone weld a bar between those strut tower bars that go to the firewall so it's like the TL bar? I'm just thinkin it would be pretty easy to weld up because we already have 2/3 of the bar already, the only thing were missing is that center bar that connects the two sides.

Haven’t seen anyone do that, should work if the welds are strong. You’ll have to bend the cross bar at both ends where they meet the elbows though, like the TL bar. You wouldn’t want to just weld in a bar that goes straight across.

I was thinking about making one that looks like the one piece neuspeed bar also and mate the two just for the hell of it lol

Better idea: just get the TL bar for like 20-something dollars? pretty easy

i thought about doin something like that too but just got the tls bar instead. its still a good idea tho

Went to pull a part today and came up on a tls bar for $4.30
