He has a 2003 TL-S and it finally happened to him.
He was driving down the road and started to feel a jerking feeling from the car.
Since his gas light was on, he decided to get some gas.
To make a long story short, he took it to the dealer,
they test drive the car and received a call that the tranny died during the test drive.
The car is now on a flat bed being towed back to the dealer for warranty service.

The funny thing is that he was so happy when he got the car. He was like
260HP is all I need.
I told him about the tranny problems and see me in a year.
Sure enough, Less than 1 year later it happens.

Now, the dealer gave him a Loaner car....A BUICK LACERNE!! BAHWAHWAH

I pray that my tranny wont fail on me. I know people with the original tranny running strong at over 100k. I have only 40k now, and seems to be good. Got the recall problem solved a few years ago (had the oil jet kit installed).
