my $.02 - first one just looks like brake dust, 2nd looks like desert dust to me.

if you're going to paint them I wouldn't bother trying to be too subtle. i'm not saying to make them as flashy as possible but if you're going to do it might as well make it noticeable imo

I think im going to just paint them the original silver color, debating with black also. Something NEEDS to be done with them tho, the finish is stripping of pretty bad, looks like ****. thanks for all the help!

Yeah either leave it as it is or just repaint it silver. I'd personally just leave it as it is and wait to buy new wheels.
