:rofl::rofl:

the only way to make the subs louder in the car than outside would be to soundproof the car...:slap::duckhunt:

:lock:

i meant like i don't want to be flashy and have the whole neighborhood hearing me, more of a lot of bass inside and and if ur in a car next to me u can hear it.

What your looking for is bass that can't be heard outside the car?

A couple things you can try,
1. Get a complete aftermarket system (non flashy) without a sub
2. Get a complete aftermarket system (non flashy) with a small sub completley dynamate your trunk, license plate, ect. Don't turn your music up that loud.

Click Me <------this is the smallest sub that i could find on a quick search. I don't know if they get any smaller than that.

I hope that helped.

be like it is
i have a 12" jl sub wired at 8ohms, hooked to a 400wrms amp. definitely not that loud, especially cause i can turn it up or down with the audiocontrol epicenter.

with the windows down in the summer, obviously the sound carries. it probably helps that i dont listen to bass-heavy music anymore.

audiocontrol epicenter.

:rofl:

Sweagle, a head unit and a sub/amp combo is probably what you're looking for.

If you post this over on HAF, I bet $1 million that t00fatt will be nicer and more helpful :D

And whoever said that the stock sound system has TOO much bass... are you tone deaf?

The stock system is comparable to listening to music underwater... with earmuffs on.

the only things ive done are a headunit, one 12" sub, and an amp. tuned it good, and it hits pretty good inside, but not overly crazy outside the car. its a good enough setup for me, and sounds like probably what you want. the only thing im going to add also is just some new 6x9's in the rear.
