what is the best OEM brake setup for a 4banger accord??

Best OEM brake setup for a 4cyl is the OEM brakes, lol. Just swap to SS brake lines.

If you want something a little better, make sure the rotors are in good condition and get yourself a good set of pads, along with SS lines.

If you want to spend a little more, upgrade to Legend calipers in front, with a good set of pads/lines, and rotors in good condition.

If you have upgraded engine, etc performance and want the best in braking and looks, get a BBK. But this will only make a difference if you have put wider wheels on the car, with wider tires. Otherwise you will not be able to put the braking power to good use.

What setup is best for your car depends on how you use your brakes. Most people seem to be happy with Brembo blanks and Hawk pads. Stainless lines are must though when upgrading brakes.

Help us help you by telling us what type of budget you have and what you plan to do with the car.

OP, wrong site for that, however, send a pm to jdm4eva.

He probably has the most knowledge on here about the CD platform.

Otherwise, check out Gen5alive.com, Honda-Tech or Honda Society
