What is the most aggressive offsets I can fit on a 4 door?

I have tried to search through some threads, but I cant find any definate answer, so sorry for my n00bish question, but lets say 17x8 up front 17x9 in the rear (maybe 16s, but probably 17s). How aggressive can I go on the offsets. Tires will be adequately stretched, I am not afraid of camber or some poke, and the car will be LOW.

If you guys have some pictures of some aggressive setups with specs that would be awesome too.

you can fit anything if you're willing to put in the wrench time. go 18x14s

I believe 9-9.5 has been done as far as width, not sure of the offset though. Should probably do a search for "offset" and see what comes up.

I had et 0 for a bit
