Im thinking about about running a staggered wheel set up

Im wanting to get sum work vs-xx's or sumthin like that with an 17x8 in the front and and a 17x9 in the rear and Im wantin sumthin with a little bit of a challenge... I dunno what offset would be good... Im wantin sum dish to these.. and Im wanting to run sum stretch tires but I dunno what tire size to get?

these wont be my DD wheels I dont want them to A get messed up and B I heard running a stretched wheel is kinda dangerous.

what do you guys think? Im down with rolling my fenders to fit my buddy has the tool and the heat gun to do it so Im all about it.

if you dont want to run stretched tires, then sir, you haev no bussiness going with a staggered set up.

anywho, Do you have a sedan or a coupe?

I know for sedans, a 17x9 in the rear is possible, but you must be like have at least a +35 offset and 225 35/40 on it. for the front, a 17x8 with a high 30's offset would fit good.

It sounds like you're not really sure of what you want, and maybe doing some more research will steer you in one direction or the other.

Let us know when you've decided what you really want, and we'll help you then.

if ur not dropped or slammed, you can pretty much run any thing you want... a prokit you might even get away with running any thing as well... but when ur slammed its a whole different story, i would say the same as swollenCU

I wanna run a stretched tire a couple friends told me I was dumb cause I wanna drive on these hoes to Import Alliance next year.. lol and they told me that it would be dangerous to drive 8 hrs on the highway at about 80 mph for that long that they might give out... that's why I asked you guys cause you do it all the time...

I wanna run a staggered set up and I want 17x8's in the front and 17x9's in the rear...

I gotta 98 sedan on tein ss set as low as it can go... and a few of you made fun of me for saying it was slammed on tein ss's so Im not gonna say that... I lowered it as far as it would go... dunno how low that is really but that's what's up.... if you wanna make fun of me sum more Im good to go... ready go!:thumbsup:

I know what I want I jus dunno how to go about doing it... I liked the one dudes accord on here( dont remember his name) but he has sum ssr mesh wheels with like a +19 offset in the front... I dont remember the back but it was badass. I dont think Im ready for sumthing quite that intense but I want sum stretched tires with those size wheels

lol, no, its forte exe.

idk tho....it certainly doesnt look like a +19 offset in the front. his wheel specs are 17x7.5 +19 and 17x9 +39.
