it's so refreshing to see new people with the right attitude.
most new members get defensive and butthurt when we give them opinions that don't agree with theirs.
but yeah, lowering can/will make the biggest difference looks-wise, next being wheels of course.
good luck with finding what you want to do with your car, there's tons of info here. hopefully you'll stay since you have a better attitude than most nooblets. :lawl:

Ah, nooblets ... now I remember why I don't usually subscribe to forums. Its because of egotistical folk like yourself who rely on others they acquaint with to bolster their position in their own small world. You ought to think about what you say to others, you might find that some of those "nooblets" have some pretty good ideas and information to share. This coming from a guy who's been moderating message boards since the early 2000's.

^If you've been moderating forums since the early 2000's, you should know the term "noob" is a typical, non-threatening form of nomenclature often applied to people who just joined an online commmunity, regardless of their age or knowledge of that particular forum's subject matter. Most people on 6GA have never meant it as an insult, unless someone was truly just being a hothead. In which case they were put in their place for their own good.

If you re-read his post, he was extremely welcoming and encouraging to the OP. He also openly applauded his attitude and mentality...hardly seeking approval from his peers on anything related to the the "status" of those within the community, if there is such a thing. There's even a pink girly emoticon to emphasize the joke, lol.

Just lighten up.

Well speak of the devil. :jae:
Here's one of those angry little nooblets I was referring to. Congratulations making yourself look stupid. I was being nice to the OP... so I really don't understand why you had to be a prick. Bye.

I recommend you get coilovers over springs.Everyone on here told me not to get springs and I didn't listen. My car isn't nearly as low as I wanted on Tein S Tech Springs even with the 2 inche drop. They ride good and my car is a daily driver, but still...Save for Coilovers!

Or buy used springs and lightly used struts for all together around $350 and you have a nice setup

You don't have to buy coilovers. Especially if you on a budget cause you can't get any for less than $600.

Trust me. You are the ONLY one who sees it that way.

You were a dick to him for no reason. He was being nice and helpful. Just goes to show you can be moderating message boards "since the 2000's" and still be clueless. smh.

OP, welcome. Just keep searching through threads and see what you like. Don't be afraid to PM somebody who has done something you like or that you'd like more info on. Sometimes its better than making a another new thread just to ask "How do I do ______?"

OP, welcome to the site.

Enjoy.

You have been giving some great info in the first few posts of this thread.

Start there, read up on the reviews of various products you are considering and take your time modding.

There is no rush, so save up to get what you really want, and don't settle for second best, only to have to spend more money in the future to get what you should have bought in the first place.
