I really do not want to lower my car due to where i commute to. I drive to D.C. every day and its about 20 miles and there are major bumps on my way there on the highway which i really cant slow down to 25 MPH when the speed limit is 65.
I really wish i could do it.

I don't want to come off as a dick bro but I'll tell u somethin. EXCUSES EXCUSES! I live in Miami, FL - the home of ****ed up roads and CONSTANT construction. Get coilovers, adjust ride height at your own convenience and call it a day.

Our cars have waaaaay too much wheel gap, almost equivalent to a damn bus. I was like u and didn't want to drop my car at all, now I will never go back to ride height. Good luck.

worse than this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YXdx9nKikN8

if you're so worried about the roads why would you spend the money on wheels when you could hit a pot hole or something else and dent, chip or crack the wheels

its going to look like crap if you don't lower your car at all

Actually its not that many but they are not like ditchs or anything. its like pavemnt rising to the bridge concrete in a smooth way and its about 5-7 inch rise. and i can already feel my car bouncing a lot going about 45

First off all welcome to the site!
What engine you have F23A? F23A4?
Tranny?
Go on craigslist and look for rims with the 4x114.3 bolt pattern and see what you can find!..it;s gonna cost you less than 1000 so you might have spare money for some headers and maybe some other mod!

seriously.. get some coilovers.. in the FS someone posted up some Tein SS's for pretty cheap.. im not sure how many miles are on them..

i've got some rough roads too.. like real rough..but god help me i love my drop

without a drop our cars look like hell.. really.. these days i get weirded out when i see stock height accords.. ESPECIALLY with wheels..... i swear if you get something like 19's and leave it at stock height.. i could probably park under you.. along with most of the other 6th gens here..

I heard that if I do decide to drop my car and do it myself, I'd have to get an alignment afterward. true?

suspension first, wheels 2nd.

I live in the mountains, gauranteed bad roads everywhere and my car is pretty damn low and I really don't have a problem driving aslong as you learn how to drive with a lowered car.

Wheels on stock suspension....:eusa_doh:

Save your money. Don't do something you will regret.

If you want any sort of wheels to look good you need to get some sort of suspension work PERIOD.

yeah if you want to ride straight.. i mean i didnt because i was broke for a while.. it vibrated at high speeds..always leaned to the right.. and i chewed through a set of tires.. so id suggest doing it soon after.. and also if you drop low enough (or at all pretty much) you're going to want to get a camber kit to help with the alignment and help your tires to last.. it wont look as cool thats for sure.. i miss the camber..
