if you have curb rash that is major, after sanding the rest of the wheel, go back with some bondo, and kneed it into the scratches, allow to dry, and then sand the areas starting with a rough grit and working down to a finer grit, I would say start at 400 then 800, 1000, 1500/2000, then prep how you would normally.
my vote, given that you don't have any huge gashes or pits would be polished, I don't think i've seen it done on here before and i think it would look sick.

they're truck wheels, but you get the jist of it. IMO they stand out from normal stock, but aren't tacky like crome, i'm thinking kind of like the g35's or new camaro wheels.
