I was about to say, it should have went right on. Glad you're back on your way though bud!

Ya I was very confused. I'll probably have it done tomorrow after school. I do have a pic of the bumper mostly kinda on lol.

Almost there!

I see your previous bumper+lip sitting next to it, but what are you going to do w/ them?

That car under the cover behind me is another 98 accord sedan ex in the same color as mine. It had a little front end damage so my dad was going to buy a new hood and bumper for it. I told him if he buys a coupe hood and an 01-02 bumper he can have my old bumper and hood. So right now that accord has my old hood and is about to have my old bumper. :lawl:

Nice move. :naughty:

(If he ever gets another 6gen again, let's convince him to get a carbon fiber hood next time. :naughty:)

Cleaned the crap out of the hood latch, but still having a couple problems. The part the cable mounts to (where the top of that 3” coil spring is hooked on) is not rotating back down. When I pull the hood release that part of the latch doesn’t rotate back down unless I push on it. The other problem is the ball at the end of the cable sometimes gets in the way of the aforementioned part, keeping it from rotating back down….maybe there is too much slack in the cable, is there a way to adjust it?

Calling my clearbra guy, hope to drop the front lip off soon and then finally get it back on the car.

turned mine into a 2011 GTI

Congrats! Make a ride thread for it.

I haven't looked too far into it myself but this is what I call, "A common Honda issue". My Accord hasn't developed the issue, but many of the Accords and Civics I work on do have it.

Got my SRP aluminum pedals installed last night, pics in my ride thread. These things are quality machined and beautifully finished, it was worth the 5 week wait. :) Highly recommend them, here's the site if anyone's in the market: http://www.srpracing.com/

Here's a couple of the finishes they offer:
