Finally got it inspected...two months later

Nope...they can only charge $12.95 for an inspection sticker here. No fees. But I could've received a ticket if a cop would've noticed.

The shop did charge me $6.00+tax to replace the third brake light bulb that, I didn't know, was out though.

Wait, so if something does not meet the inspection standards, they just replace it without telling you? Or once they told you it would be $6 to replace a bulb, you just settled for it so you could pass inspection?

How much are tickets for not passing inspection? Sounds like they would be expensive.

They told me, I said replace it since I didn't want to fail, and then afterwards I found out it cost $6.

I contemplated buying a house across the river so I wouldn't have to deal with it...but then I'd have to deal with those dreadful license plates and drivers


But I really wish those from OH that drive through WV had to get inspected...you should see some of the **** boxes driving around here with OH plates.
