I got a speeding ticket (off a rental car) in nor cal. Was doing 87 in a 65mph fwy (the 5 fwy). The ticket is for $362 plus a $52 for traffic school....... And I gotta pay out of my own pocket for speeding ticket.
FML.

Yeah, I regret driving fast now..
The violation alone is $277 but with all these stupid fees and court fines

VC 22349(a) 65 MPH Maximum = $277
VC 40508.6 Admin Assessment = $10
GC 70373 i Criminal Assess Infr = #35
PC 1465.8(a) Court Operations ASM = $40

The problem is that I live 10 hours away from this court....
and I don't want to pay the fee since I'm a broke college student lol.
