Switched back to my retros, custom grille, and summer wheels tonight. Then I shut my trunk, and my Accord emblem fell to the ground. Argh.

drove her to work then back and then stared and fell in love with her all over again. :afro:

I curbed one of the rims, if only i had waited and not put them on yet:madrun:
I was making a right turn on a one lane road when i had an advanced green light; a police car decided itd run a red with no lights/siren etc. Ended up pulling hard to the right to avoid from him rearending me and slammed the damn rim in the sidewalk:madrun: Luckily no bends or anything but still annoyed and pissed the hell out of me...plus now not sure if i should go get an alignment or not, even though i did feel the rear end budge a bit when it hit.

lol

I was so annoyed. I stepped back and looked at my car after I swapped parts, and just thought it looked great. Then I grabbed my tools out of my trunk to go inside, shut the trunk, and it just fell right off. So now my trunk looks ghetto a/ a bunch of nasty old brown adhesive next to the red V6 badge, which is now disgraced.

But…if nothing else it’s a catalyst to get myself moving on my trunk project.

Some Goo Gone should clean that up, so at least the adhesive will be out of the way.

Only take the smallest of motivations to start the biggest projects, sometimes.

ha yep.

So Goo Gone won't mess up the paint?

Get a heatgun/hairdryer and heat up the residue left over first and remove as much as you can. Then use the the goo-gone. Thats what i did when my accord emblem came off lol. After its all off, clean, wash and wax/polish the affected area.

^Send the repair bill to the closest station to your house with the details and photos.
already tried going into to the division on davenport/weston rd and just spoke to the receptionist there and her response was
"the officer might've been undercover or following a disturbance close by where sirens might cause the suspect to run". I told her the officer just turned into the stations parking as i was behind him afterwards but she said "sorry can't help you"
