Ive been meaning to do that to mine for quite some time now. It's worth checking into but something tells me mine probably wont be that bad. Im the 2nd owner and the lady before was real clean. Plus my air/AC doesnt stink.

My old 6ga was almost as bad as this, and it was a lot cleaner when i got it, and had 40k less miles than this car did. I just think it doesn't matter as much as how clean you are, as it does the fact that it's a 10+ year old car, and chances are that these haven't been changed yet. haha
I could tell mine hadn't been changed... since the car rolled off the lot 13 years ago. Disgusting.

^I bought mine from HandA. Along with some clips, fasteners, and a paint touch up tool. Btw my air didn't smell bad either, but now it smells even better. And those are also filtering outside air so even if the inside of the car is clean, whatever's coming from the exterior can dirty them up as well.

Those look pretty bad, Tyler. I don't think mine had ever been changed either.

Yeah. Where'd you get the filters at?
I got the ones for my old 6ga from the dealership for $18 (discounted price). But these are TYC filters, they sell for $12 shipped on eBay, but someone was selling some on here a week or 2 ago and I got them for $10 shipped brand new in the wrapper.
Honestly they look and feel the same as the oem ones.

My air didn't smell bad, bad. But it just smelled... stale. That probably doesn't make much sense, but I know what i mean. haha
The air just smells so much cleaner now, like you're saying. I can also tell it blows a littler harder now, simply because there isn't a bucket of dead leaves and crap in there and a black clogged up filter.

If HandA has them for $7.50ea, I wouldnt think they'd be too much more than that from a local dealer. That's actually really cheap, too. I could probably get both, from Honda, for like $15.

^That looks pretty dark. Or maybe it's just the photo.

Yeah I noticed more air blowing at lower fan speeds too.

Buy them wherever you can get them cheapest, it's one of those items that doesn't matter of it's OEM or not.
