Yes the new lever has the ball also if you go to the jtc website they have detailed pics of what the kit looks like uninstalled. It looks like a real solid design and a nice upgrade. I will be getting one at some point.

Yea, the JTC shifter comes with a ball and the shifter all together. The ball is actually all metal which is very very nice and adds a nice weight at the bottom to make things a lot smoother to shift.
The stock ball is plastic and it sucks balls! lol. Mine was purchased new and less than 2 years the stock pivot ball had already cracked. You better believe this will not happen with the JTC one.

Stock. Notice the white plastic ball at the bottom of the shifter.

Nice! Wish I had a second car, would make doing some projects a lot easier. But I don't want to pay for one, lol.

Yeah right, you swapped the trunk and outer tails.

Both sedans look the same otherwise, from what I can tell.

Not to mention the bumper has the same chip in it in both pics, in the exact same spot.

Sorry to ruin your fun.

I do have 2. The black and the white on the pic I posted previously.

The first 2 shots up there are the before and after. I did the 01-02 trunk swap on my white 98.
