Oh, the hotspots! :lawl:

How are/did you contending with them? Can't believe you removed the needles and it still works.

If you've ever tried to take a pic of ANY lights with a phone... at night... you know those aren't real hotspots, just the camera. :lawl:

funny thing though... I think I kinda got used to the stock bulbs, and forgot how bright this is, and I kinda don't like it as much as I used to. It's a gorgeous white, but also I ****ed my needles up this time doing it. Everything works, but the gas and rpms stick sometimes and lag really bad. Something that I, being as anal about this thing, am not going to deal with. -__- I did it great on my old car, but this time not so much luck. I found ONE 99 manual gauge cluster on ebay, same product number on the back and everything of mine, and ordered it this morning $99 shipped with 30 day warranty. Good deal, imo. I'm not doing this again, though. I'm just going to swap out the assemblies inside from the new one into the old cluster so I can keep the same mileage, and maybe do red next time, something easier on the eyes. A day wasted; a lesson learned. :beer2: Lol

Sorry Bax. But your misfortune(s) have given me a lesson. I wanted to do this one day but it seems it just isn't a good idea. I'll stick to just putting LEDs in the upper lights, lol.

And maybe swapping polarities. But that's it, lol.

I'm not sure, probably just the regular halogen color like the door courtesy lights, but brighter than it used to be lol.

Yeah, i've had like 50/50 luck with this project, so idk what to think about it. The last time I did this, it went perfectly. It worked flawlessly for over 6 months until my car was totaled, but this project just didn't go that way haha.

When, or before, you swap them out, I'd be curious to see the new faces with halogen bulbs. Ya know, for ****s'n'giggles.

What messed his up was taking off the needles so he could remove the blue film on the back of the gauge faces. You can't mess anything by swapping to LED bulbs in the gauge faces. I think you can handle that. ;)

Tyler have you tried taking the needles off and putting them back on again? Or just pushing them up a little with a fork?
