I have no idea!! I was driving and when I shifted to 4th, it started choking and my rpms went low and speed went low (it was raining super hard too, don't know if that could be the issue :s). The more I press on gas the more it choked and wanted to die on me. Pulled over to a small street to check it out; went into 1st, and did same thing, choked and barely went past 40km. Was scared to drive it on the streets cause it could choke out in the middle of the road so towed it to the shop...we will see what it is tomorrow. Could it be the fuel pump? I checked forums and they're saying possibly: filter, fuel pump, spark plugs...lol![]()
Did it throw any CEL on you as it was doing this?
Could've been a series of misfires for some reason, could've been your timing belt jumping a tooth somehow, could be your o2 sensor, could be something with your distributor/sparkplugs, could be your catalytic converter all of a sudden getting blocked/clogged somehow
The rain would only affect it if you somehow managed to suck enough of it through your intake...which i doubt unless you drove through some massive puddle that kicked up enough water.
