I hate that Missouri requires a front plate. SOOOO stupid. They even did some math and the state would save millions by cutting them.

I'm in Colorado with missouri plates so I took my front off, they don't want to bother with the hassle… lol

I thought about stretching but I'm getting the rims coated this week and I was afraid they'd get mauled sticking out like that so we'll see!

They have good reviews as far as road noise and grip for an ultra all season.
I'm running 16x6.5 stocks right now that are bald and tearing! :skurred:

Now that I'll be running a 17x8 with fully adjustable coils, a 25" (me thinks) front sway and 20" rear both with new moog end links I'm gonna have a blast with these new tires! :D
Hope to get it all together by next week and get some pics!

LOL, dude that's funny. I just ordered the same tires yesterday too.

I was hesitant on moving from a full summer tire (Hankook V12 Evo) to the Ultra Perf All-Seasons (Kumho Ecsta 4X) but the lower cost and added treadlife was too good to pass up. First Kumho tire for me....

Firstly, Kevin, the TL is looking fantastic.

Secondly, I FINALLY scored a mint CDA-9887, just need to get a case for the faceplate.

And like a bawwss, deleted the front license plate. Front-end looks so much cleaner without it.

Your answer.

I have yet to try Kumho, their tires always look so unathletic and seem to have huge sidewalls. But I haven’t seen this new model, and the wheels I’m building will need rubber. Post some photos when you get them and the wheels on.

On that note, I miss my T1R’s. Best tire I’ve ever driven on.

Yea mine just got in yesterday honestly they look really good.
I'm sure those V12s were pretty good but that was the other thing.. the tread life on these along with the ratings they've got as far as grip I was surprise and figured I'd try something new.

We should relay our experience to one another for a while haha

This is my first shot at Kumho's, I have heard a lot bad stuff about them however from the past. People who are running this new line of x4's are saying its a huge improvement and that they're up to par if not better than a lot of other tires in the price range out there.

I will certainly be having a photo shoot once everything gets on.

Nice find!
I like the 9886

I have a 9884 sitting around, I don't use it cause I don't think it will look good in my CL but its a dope head unit.
+1 for alpine

Yeah, it's been a LONG time searching for one...almost like a CG OEM Coupe Lip Kit type of endeavour. :lawl:

I had seen some 9886's, but I figured I would hold out and see if I could score a good deal on a 9887.

Any cons with the series, in your opinion?
