Social groups are too mainstream for me...
What's up with them??

...it's actually a spam invasion. watch the social groups list, i last saw it at 4.5 pages deep 
See? That's what I figured. Maybe they're thinking that the "social" section (like Facebook, Twitter, etc) of our site is a big place for us to visit a lot. This is my first time ever seeing that bots are invading this section rather than our normal threads.
I could be wrong about this, but although they're all newly registered, I don't think I saw their names at the "welcome to our newest member" section.

As long as the spam is contained to one area....the rest of the site is free to be enjoyed.

spam just posts wherever spam can post, there's no rhyme or reason, just to push whatever they're posting about.
