Wheel Adapters

Just wondering if anyone had experience with lug adapters on 4-banger 6th gen accords. My cousin is considering using a 4x100 to 4x114.3 adapter on his accord, they'll be about 1 inch thick.

The wheels are Volks AV3 (I think) 17x7 +44, tires are 215/45/17s, if my numbers are right it'll be like running +31 offset on 17 x 7.5s. I know there are people who've used +38 without issues (depending on their lowering). I'm just not sure if 7 mm will make that much of a difference (doesn't seem too much).

The rears shouldn't be an issue, but I'm not too sure about the front. Any comments?

the only issue I would have with these spacers in the possibility of them breaking or malfunctioning

do you have any pictures of the spacers? I have never seen one and wonder what they look like

dangerous dont even think about getting them if you care about your car.

it is just a plate adapter (no replacement studs), or the entire stud assembly? H&R makes good ones... if u put on just a plate adapter without replacement studs, u will basically shorten the usable length of the wheel stud, which means the lug nuts have less thread to work with...

did tht make sense? i'm bad at explaining stuff

Well with a 7" rim width and +44 offset, the adapters will be at least 20mm thick I assume. It may just flush the wheels correctly.

these are safe, my buddy has 5x114 to 5x120 to run bmw wheels drifts and dd it, bumpage for old thread
