Grillin' rape steaks
I would polish them and they'll still retain their value. Did it come with another set of wheels? If so I would take them apart, replace all the hardware, get some new center caps, and polish them up. If you do paint them, have them professionally powder coated. The gold DOES look pretty sick.....
