Thinking about trading my 15in Prelude saw blades for some 17in Rota Bellas.Everyone says 17s are the best for 6th gen accords.I'm worried about my car sitting too high even after i lower it on springs. The drop is 2in in the front and 1.7 in the rear.I have pics below to show you what i want and what i dont want. Also does it matter if i dont get the recommend size tires because i have 195/55/? tires and the Rotas have 205/?/? tires but he has them nn his accord but i sense they might rub maybe?idk help?lol also Should i trade?dont want my car to look like crap or rice.I feel like I ask alot of dumb questions, but I dont wanna make a bad decision but everyone says upgrade to aftermarket and get 17s and heres my chance.Thank you

17" with a slight drop will look alrighttttt.

Imo 18's look best if you are tire tucked. For 17's get 215/45-17 you can also run anything between 205-225 and 40-50(max) profile tires, your speedo might be off a little though.

You won't come close to rubbing if you aren't slammed. I'm on 17x8 +38 in fronts and 17x9 +38 in the rears with 215/45-17 all around and I'm a lot lower than you. With a slight roll I don't come close to rubbing, unless I hit a pothole or a dip.

Edit: I am also guessing those wheels are 17x7 with 35-45 offset.

With that small of a drop you're going to have more wheel gap than either of those pictures. I'm on 17's with 205/40s and 2.5/2.25 and you can see the gap I have in my members ride thread (click the picture below). I would suggest what he ^ said, go with 215/45's at the minimum to eliminate more of the gap.

Check the 'Wheel Fitment' thread for recommended tires sizes for any size wheel that is typically run on our cars.

17’s are the best, if you want to slam the car to the ground. Otherwise, it’s subjective.

Do the wheels you’re buying have tires on them already? What size are they? The wrong size tire will alter your speedo/odo accuracy, when plus sizing you always want to try to stay as close to OEM overall diameter as you can to keep the readings accurate.

And make sure you get some aftermarket shocks to pair with the lowering springs.

I swear you have repeated this exact phrase about a dozen times on here.......

The tire size is 215/50R17 on the 17s.How much are aftermarket shocks? My friend said Lowering on springs you might need new tie rods, alignment, etc. I'm kinda worried cause Im out of work for almost a year from surgery and cant afford parts and stuff lol I still cant drive
