very nice
aside from the trans swap, what are your plans?[/QUOTE

So far I have the 5 lug swap parts. I have 5 spoke Axis 18's. System will consist of a 12 inch sub and I have a double din pioneer app radio. I'll probably do a fiberglass box like in the RL. Of course lowering, although not sure what to get. All major bolt ons and I am toying with the idea of turboing the thing.

Hey I have a quick question. I just got my manual transmission yesterday. Do I need to clean the inside of transmission. It just seems to be really dirty. I guess the transmission fluid is built up on it. any recommendations?

Are you planning on doing the swap yourself? Because based on that question, I have doubts...

Don't doubt me. I have never done a transmission. So I don't know the ins and outs of the whole thing. But I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express. Seriously though....I have confidence in myself to be able to do this. Done plenty of other things in regards to this car and plenty of others. I'm just asking questions for things that I'm not one hundred percent sure on. So....do you have an answer for me?

Well, I believe the "inside" of the transmission you're talking about is the clutch housing. There shouldn't be much more than dust from the clutch disk. Any oil would be a problem: leaking seal from the transmission or the engine it was on. Use brake cleaner.

& Good luck
